BP Connections follows the industry model concerning contracts and agreements. There are numerous documents that need to be signed by the prospective tenant including an Assured Short Hold Tenancy and a series of Housing act Notices. The purpose of these agreements is to protect and define each party's role and to make perfectly clear who is responsible and therefore liable for various aspects including: maintenance, damage and breakages and utility charges.
The Assured Short Hold Tenancy, which BP Connections will draw up for you, help sanction return of property possession at the conclusion of the agreed rental duration, which is initially a minimum period of six months and maximum of twelve.

If tenant(s) and landlord are happy to pursue a renewal we will help draw up the required documents and sign on your behalf relevant documents as the landlord's agent.

The Housing Act notices greatly contribute to the validity of the landlord's property claims.

Renewals

A renewal is a sign of a good working relationship between landlord, tenant and agent (BP Connections) and although renewals can exceed eighteen months we advise only a twelve month continuation, this is purely in the interest of the landlord as it provides you with greater legal authority. Although we are happy to proceed no matter the extension of the renewal.
